We are from Tallahassee and this is our favorite camp ground near us! We have been coming for about 4 years now and it never disappoints! The staff is so nice and everything is clean.
We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay and the staff was wonderful. Resort has tons of amenities such as pool, laundry, and a full kitchen common area with card tables and TVs. Camping ground is only about 100 yards away from white beach sand and quite a few good places to eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner within a mile. WIFI isn't made for streaming, but certainly allowed for email, social networking, and basic web surfing. I would advise bringing your own water as the hook up water was not to our drinking standards. Outside of this, everything else was perfect.
The resort was lovely and the staff is met while there were friendly and accommodating. I was there with my boyfriend, visiting our friends who were staying the weekend in their camper. I thought the amenities were great, it was very family friendly, and quiet (which is important to me). My ONLY complaint would be the fact that several guests were smoking cigarettes at the pool, which was definitely not allowed. While I don't have a sensitivity to smoke, I just personally don't appreciate the smell and didn't enjoy inhaling their fumes while relaxing in the pool. I realize this isn't directly the management's fault, but it would have been nice if someone had reminded them not to smoke on the pool deck.
One of the better RV parks I've been to. The cabins looked really nice too. Just be aware that the beach across the street can have brown water. It's not unusual for the area - water was brown all the way to Appilachicola - but it can make you think twice about swimming.
Super friendly office staff and very clean facility. We stayed in Cottage #1 which was fabulous for Thanksgiving weekend. Definitely would recommend for a beach getaway. The only thing that needs improvement is the Wifi coverage through the RV park as the cell phone reception is very poor in that area.
